State of Decay – Unbanned in Australia with a Special Edition

State of Decay – Undead Lab’s zombie-survival sandbox game is finally able to get a R18+ adult rating from Australian Classification Board thus receiving commendation to be sold in Australia.

You may be very well aware that the game was previously rejected classification because it had, “illicit or proscribed drug use related to incentives or rewards.”

The game which was originally submitted for classification surely had in-game medicaments that comprised of illicit elements.

However, a special edition of the game was again submitted for classification. Undead Labs shed light on this revised edition on their official Facebook fan page saying, “Stimulants out! Supplements’ in!”

The revised edition of State of Decay has been rated for high-impact violence, mild-impact sex & drugs and moderate-impact language & the motif. Besides these, no further details whatsoever are provided.

State of Decay is an open-world sandbox game which surrounds around a zombie apocalypse. The realistic approach of this game doesn’t let become the ultimate zombie killer, and players have to do a lot in order to survive.

The game released on Xbox Live Marketplace, and developers are planning on porting it to PC soon. The game has sold well over 500,000 copies in North America making it fastest selling game on Xbox Live.
