Free-to-play online shooter Ghost Recon Online is getting a new update which will come packed with a new map and weapons.
Currently in open beta, Update 12.0 brings Xinyi District, an enormous map made in sight of Conquest Mode, one of the most popular choices in the game. Xinyi District is also the largest map created so far for the game.
The new map will be accompanied by the Phantom weapon pack which includes Phantom-themed weapons and items.
Apart from these two goodies for players, there will be additional graphical and cosmetic changes which includes signature singe-eye AR displays and realistic shell ejection.
Speaking to GameSpot, game’s director Corey Facteau said that they will only release the game when it’s complete and is rid of bugs. Quality of experience matters to players and Ubisoft is bent on releasing a complete title.
“We will continue to make improvements and fixes in open beta until we are convinced that we are delivering the best experience possible.”
Ghost Recon Online is currently in open beta officially in North America and Europe.
