Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag Shows Naval Gameplay Features in New Trailer
A new trailer released for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag shows us naval gameplay features such as exploration, looting, map reading and finding, etc.
Each feature is also commented on by game director Ashraf Ismail; hence providing more in-depth detail for viewers to better understand the ideas put forward.
Ubisoft previously teased us that their latest Assassin’s Creed installment will bring back the golden age of piracy in its fullest form. That includes all kinds of controls and customization to relive a part of history. Players will be able to customize their own ships, spot other pirates and merchants on the high seas and change course to either attack or loot them in the process.
Black Flag will deviate a bit from the normal settings we’ve become accustomed to in the previous titles. Majorly players will be given more freedom this time around.
The next-gen versions of the game are also going to include some exclusive features for the single player campaign, requiring players to be connected online to enjoy them: these features are meant to take advantage of the social features of the new consoles.
Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flags is scheduled for release on the PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii U on October 29 in North America and a couple of days later in Europe. The PC and next-gen versions will be released on a later date.
