IGN confirmed today that The Walking Dead: 400 Days is launching this week, and sooner than you think. Tomorrow it will launch on the PlayStation Network in North America; on Wednesday, July 3 it’ll be available to Steam players on PC and Mac; Friday, July 5 will see its Xbox Live release worldwide; Wed, July 10 is the European PSN launch and iOS users can get their hands on it Thursday, July 11.
The Walking Dead: 400 Days takes place between the story of Season 1 and 2. It’s set in the same region as Season 1 but tells the story of a new survivor group over five short stories at a truck stop in Georgia. Each of the stories takes place at different times and from different character perspectives, going from the first day of the undead apocalypse to the 400th day.
It doesn’t matter what order you play the stories in, and the choices you made in Season 1 will resonate in 400 Days. What decisions you make in 400 Days, however, will carry on to Season 2.
