Good news for all the gamers out there who have been unable to play Max Payne 3 due to only owning a Mac computer, it seems that the title will be coming over to your platform real soon. And by ‘real soon’, I mean tomorrow.
The information was released to the public via a tweet by Rockstar Games, as you can see here:
Max Payne 3 will be available for Mac later this week, on Thursday June 20th: http://t.co/4CsJE3Njmv
Rockstar Games (@RockstarGames) June 18, 2013
If you want to know whether your machine can run the game, check this list of requirements out:
- OS: Mac OS X 10.7.5 Lion
- Intel Dual Core Xeon / Core i Series 2.4 GHZ or greater
- 4GB System RAM
- NVIDIA® 8800GT 512MB VRAM or AMD Radeon HD 4870 512 VRAM
- HDD Space: 35GB
It’s not confirmed whether the platform will be seeing the DLC releases that have come out for the PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, we can only hope.
Max Payne 3 came out almost exactly a year ago, in the summer of 2012 (May for the consoles, June for the PC). Critics were divided about the game but it recieved positive reviews for the most part.
