Wargaming clearly does not like to waste time. Following their announcement of a console edition for World of Tanks earlier this month; the developer has now opened up beta registrations.
Microsoft’s Major Nelson announced on his blog today that interested beta participants can now sign up for the Xbox 360 versions of the vehicular battle game.
“World of Tanks comes to Xbox 360 with the custom built version of the global online multiplayer phenomenon dedicated to tank warfare in the mid-20th century,” reads the beta announcement. “Command some of history’s most powerful tanks and experience intense combat where the excitement of battle is enhanced by working together with your tank platoon to win the fight.”
The announcement though fails to mention when the beta will go live. To sign up head here and fill in the required fields. All you need to be eligible is an Xbox Gold membership.
World of Tanks is a popular game on the PC; which previously has also held a Guinness record for the most amount of players online in a server. At E3, Wargaming proudly announced the game to be in development for both the Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
