Sony and Ubisoft have established a new partnership which guarantees Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag and Watch Dogs to receive exclusive content on the PlayStation 3 and 4.
Adam Boyes, vice president of Sony’s publisher and developer relations explained that both titles would include “an hour of exclusive game-play” on the said platforms.
Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag will feature three exclusive missions on the PS3 and PS4; which will see the return of Avline, the female protagonist from Assassin’s Creed 3: Liberation.
Watch Dogs, on the other hand, will feature four exclusive missions on both the PS3 and PS4 which will be “centered on a faction fighting for freedom in the digital age.” Protagonist Aiden Pearce will be tasked to get revenge on a “Chicago tech mogul who did them wrong.” Completing the four extra missions successfully will unlock an exclusive suit for him as a reward.
“Expanding our partnership with Sony Computer Entertainment allows us to offer PlayStation gamers even more substance to games that are already rich with content,” Geoffroy Sardin, Ubisoft’s chief marketing and sales officer said in a prepared statement. “Regardless of which PlayStation console Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag and Watch Dogs are played on, PlayStation gamers will be treated to exclusives that will add to their gameplay experiences.”
Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag releases on October 29 for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC and Wii U. Watchdogs, on the other hand, is slated for release on November 19 for the PS3, Xbox 360, PC and Wii U. The next-gen versions will be available on November 21.
