Nintendo’s E3 Direct Broadcast revealed that The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD will release for the Wii U in October this year.
In a new trailer shown, Link was shown changing the sails of his boat in order to move faster. Additionally, president and CEO of Nintendo Satoru Iwata said that the Tingle Tuner from the original GameCube title has been integrated into the Wii U GamePad now. Previously players were required to connect the GameCube to the Game Boy Advance instead.
Players now can post messages and images to Miiverse that will appear in bottles washed up around the game world for other people to find.
The game has also been confirmed to run in full 1080p.
