As confirmed at Microsoft’s live conference at the E3 all the Xbox Live Gold Members will now get two free game downloads per month.

This is likely to be an improvement from the previously available free games since the first two games put up on the offer are Halo 3 and Assassin Creed 2 suggesting that the quality of free games will now get better. This comes in addition to the fact that now users will assuredly get two games per month.

As declared by Yusuf Mehdi, Microsoft SVP; more games will be added to the deck pretty soon. This was announced in addition to a newer version of Xbox 360, which will be available in the market from today.

The new Xbox Live Gold Membership is bound to start from the 1st of July and both existing and new members will be able to benefit from it thereon.

Though Xbox One is the premier focus of media, users and Microsoft alike, this news purports that they are not done with 360 just yet.
