Ubisoft opened their E3 press conference with Jerry Cantrell from Alice in Chains taking the stage. The legendary guitarist began to riff away on his guitar, when he revealed that he was playing the ‘all new’ Rocksmith 2014 Edition that Ubisoft have been working on.
Jerry Cantrell continued to play, showing us the game’s Session Mode. Interestingly, he was capable of altering the tempo of the song he was playing in real-time by uttering some simple voice commands.
We didn’t get a real in-depth look into Rocksmith 2014 as it wasn’t long until Aisha Taylor took the stage to continue the rest of the conference.
Whilst no specific release dates have been mentioned, an October launch window is expected.
