Rare came out during Microsoft’s E3 conference today to showcase their new title, Killer Instinct, which will be an Xbox One exclusive.
The game is an update to the rather old series, in fact Phil Spencer even eased it last month when he said that we might see a “historic IP” from Rare being revived at E3. Turns out he was right, and fans do want to visit the Killer Instinct games again after 17 years.
A MadCatz Tournament Edition fightstick will ship with the game, suggesting that there are already plans for collectors editions of the game.
No release date was confirmed, but they did announce that the game would be playable at E3 and a number of other locations that are currently unconfirmed.
