Activision ran another demo of Call of Duty: Ghosts in their pre-E3 conference today; featuring the underwater level, some footage of which we’ve seen before.
The player, accompanied by a friendly, helps guide an underwater missile right into an enemy vessel; after which a group of pissed enemy swimmers try to take you down.
Apparently this is not the only map in the game which requires you to go under water. Activision stated that there are other levels as well that take place in the waters around South America and will find you diving for your objectives.
Players in the new Call of Duty: Ghosts will have many companions but one will stick by your side throughout the game. We’re of course talking about your combat dog, revealed to be named Riley.
Activision then showcased a second demo that appeared to take place in California and featured massive earthquakes. In this level players were able to see through Riley’s eyes through an attached camera on the dog. Also the demo sort of confirmed previous rumors that players will have full control of Riley. However, it remains to be seen if that control will be specific to levels or not.
Riley is able to take out enemies stealthily, flush out larger groups, scout areas and use his bark to distract patrols.
