Leaked Game Informer Cover Reveals Respawn’s First Game: TitanFall

According to a post on NeoGAF where a screen shot of the July edition cover of Game Informer was posted, we now know that the first game by Respawn is titled TitanFall.

Respawn Entertainment was founded by the Call of Duty creators who will be debuting with first-person shooter in spring 2014. After their split from Activision in 2010 this will be the first game developed by the team headed by Jason West and Vince Zampella.

Since the nascent development studio believes it could not cope up with a higher level of workload, the game is only being released for Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC – Playstation as a platform hasn’t been rolled for future games though.

Respawn had filed for “Titan” trademark which makes TitanFall hardly a surprise. It is a multiplayer futuristic game that will revolve around foot soldiers who try to fight back corporations that are trying to overtake resources from human inhabited Frontier Planets, reports Gematsu.

From what we know about the game – Pilots, the foot soldiers in control of the players will go about brandishing rifles, rocket launchers and knives to fight against giant Titans; the mechs who will be AI characters.

Now we know, Respawn indeed will have something to show at E3 this year and it involves giant robots.
