Injustice: Gods Among Us Adds Scorpion DLC

By   /   Jun 4, 2013

Warner Bros has announced that the Mortal Kombat series sensation Scorpion will now be featured as a DLC character in Injustice – something that might come as pleasant news for all the MK fans demanding for it.

There had been requests for new characters in the game that have been adhered to in the shape of BatGirl  and an expected introduction of Martian Manhunter – the latter being due to a fleeting image of Manhunter shown at the end of a trailer that shows the resurrected ninja.

As of now, the download will be available on Xbox 360 and PS3 either for 400 MS points or $3.99 respectively, nothing has been said for a release to the Nintendo console so far.

Since Injustice comes from the developers of Mortal Kombat; NetherRealm, it is an expected addition. Not to forget that some other DC characters have jumped games in the past too – Kratos from God of War being one when it was introduced to Mortal Kombat itself.

Have a look at the trailer below showing the redesign by DC artist Jim Lee that shows Scorpion dressed up to suit the superhero image of the game.
