Borderlands 2: Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon’s Keep DLC Coming in June
I think a lot of people out there just died of fangasms. Yo I heard you like games, so Gearbox made a game inside a game so you can game while you game. In English, that roughly means that the Borderlands 2: Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon’s Keep DLC will be coming out very soon (June).
The theme of this last expansion for Borderlands 2 is ‘Tabletop RPG’, you know, Dungeons and Dragons style. Basically Tiny Tina and the original Vault Hunters are sitting around a table having a round of ‘Bunkers and Badasses’.
Tina is, of course, the dungeon master and you probably already know that it’s going to be awesome. According to Lead Writer Anthony Burch:
“Tiny Tina is a perfect dungeon master because, while she has omnipotent control, she’s prone to sticking in weird changes, like changing the time of day or the enemies on a whim,”
Apparently the DLC is chock full of hilarious references and fan service (they mention that Game of Thrones gets some love). For example, chests in the game will have classic D20 on the front and whenever you want to open one you’ll have to roll to determine what kind of loot you get.
Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon’s Keep will be out for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on June 25 for $10. It’s included for those who purchased the Borderlands 2 DLC season pass.
