Just like the original game, this reboot will be a first-person shooter and will feature better levels and classical weapons from original game such as Exaclibat which is kind of a baseball bat but much powerful!

The reboot of the game was initially announced at QuakeCon. on August 2012. To give it a feel like the original game; developers are trying their best to keep it close to the original.
Rise of the Triad was originally released in 1994 by Apogee Software as a shareware. Players were able to choose a character from a total of five; each with his/her own abilities and attributes.
