In wake of the uproar created amongst the gamers circle following Microsoft’s Xbox One reveal event, the firm is now offering free E3 tickets to everyone so that they can attend their conference live.
Major Nelson notes on his blog that 250 winners are going to be chosen randomly by Microsoft and will be notified by email. The ticket does not contain access to other events and will be a single pass for Microsoft’s E3 press conference only.
Those selected should “be in Los Angeles on the morning of June 10th by 8:30am”. Also all winners must be over the age of 18 because of “M rated content that will be shown at the briefing”.
Microsoft’s Xbox One reveal event was bizarre and confusing. Most of their representatives were apparently not on the same ship with each other and it made it hectic just to verify Microsoft’s stance on used games and online DRM issues.
The firm finally decided to put Major Nelson, Larry Hryb, in front to deal with the community.
Here’s hoping that Microsoft finally comes clean at E3 and answers the questions which are currently brewing.
