Games of June 2013 – PC, PlayStation 3, Wii U, Xbox 360 and More!

The Last of Us
As the world awaits upcoming E3 event for news on Next Gen consoles and the games of tomorrow, the slow trickle of current gen games of past months continues into the month of June.

With all the focus on PS4 and Xbox One, the publishers have kept the release schedule short and concise for this month as June’s offerings seem little, even compared to the meager offerings of the past month of May 2013.

However, it would be mistake to dismiss June as an insignificant month for game releases. The month is blessed with both fresh and much anticipated new IPs as well as ports of gems of the past.

The month of June is host to new IPs like Capcom’s Remember Me, Naughty Dog’s Last of Us and High Moon Studio’s Deadpool. There are also returning sequels to popular franchises like Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Company of Heroes 2 and Game & Wario.

Moreover, the month sees several games of, recent and distant, past making a return as ports on different platforms. Games like SimCity, Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two, Muramasa Rebirth and Project X Zone now become available on platforms that missed out on them the first time.

So without further ado, here are all the games being released in the month of June, broken down according to the Platforms, Release Date and Genre for each game as well as a brief description for anticipated releases.
