Clearly when Ubisoft decided to go against their initial word and delay Rayman Legends to accommodate a PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 release; they had plenty of free time to come up with a PlayStation Vita version as well.
The hand-held version will release on the same date alongside the other platforms later this year and will include five exclusive maps that can be played with Murphy by using the rear touch pad. A multiplayer is also included where players can hook up for co-op with friends over wi-fi.
Additionally there are two costumes included – a Prince of Persia one for Rayman and a Splinter Cell one for Globox.
So how you have four platforms to choose from – PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, Vita; which one will you be buying?
Rayman Legends will release on September this year for the PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii U. The Vita version is confirmed for a European release on August 29th but a North American release is unconfirmed at this point. It will most probably follow a couple of days later.
