Following Microsoft’s Xbox One announcement yesterday, Eidos Montreal and Square Enix have released a press release stating that Thief is going to be released for the Xbox One as well.
Thief sees to the return of Garrett, a master thief who probably had no problem lock-picking his way forward in Skyrim. The game was announced by Eidos in March of this year and will see to a release sometime in 2014 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
Eidos Montreal have continued to state that both the console and PC versions of the upcoming Thief reboot would be “identical”. This statement was passed in relation with the PS4. We can safely assume now that it’s meant for the Xbox One as well. That said, the developers have hinted towards some exclusive features for the PC version, which will take advantage of the high-powered hardware. These features have yet to be revealed.
