Resident Evil Revelations Weapons and Upgrades Locations Guide – How To Get

Resident Evil Revelations
Resident Evil wouldn’t be Resident Evil if there wasn’t a whole armory’s worth of ordinance you could collect (all of which don’t seem to slow down our esteemed heroes). If you’re looking for the best handgun in the game, or the Infinite Rocket Launcher, then this is the resource for you.

Resident Evil Revelations Weapons and Upgrades Locations

The guide only shows information about the locations of the weapons, and is sorted via the weapon types, meaning that all the Rifle locations are in one place and the machine gun locations are listed in an entirely different section.

Without further ado, lets get into it.

Handguns

M92F – (Episode 1, Scenario 1)
Location. This is the default weapon for Jill.

PC356
Location. You can get this by completing the B.O.W Hunter mission which involves killing 150 enemies. It appears in a weapon crate.

Government – (Episode 10, Scenario 2)
Location. You find this after the section of the scenario where Jill escorts Parker. It’ll be on the catwalk bridge behind Jill once the timer starts for the triggering system.

G18
Location. You can get this by completing the Secret Sign 30 mission after scanning 30 handprints. It appears in a weapon crate.

Machine Guns

P-90
Location. You can get this by completing a streetpass supply mission with this labeled as the unlockable after playing duo Raid Mode online with a player. It appears randomly.

AUG – (Episode 5, Scenario 4)
Location. Past the lower level of the Engine Room, Jill steps out onto a walkway with water below it. Go down the stairs into the Tank Room on the right and you’ll find the AUG on a table there.

G36
Location. This machine gun is only available to side characters and not available to Jill in campaign mode.

MP5 – (Episode 4, Scenario 1)
Location. After reentering the Hallway with Broken Windows in Episode 4, unlock the iron door with the iron anchor key. You’ll find the MP5 in this room.

Shotguns

Windham
Location. Once you have collected the crest item from The Study in the Bridge area, go back to the Cafeteria and enter the Guest Room in the Hallway with Paintings. Place the crest on the indention in the pedestal below the shotgun on the mantle to get it.

M3
Location. This shotgun is only available to side characters and not available to Jill in campaign mode.

Hydra
Location. After beating the game in Normal mode, this appears in the weapon crate on the New Game+ playthrough.

Rifles

M40A1 – (Episode 3, Scenario 2)
Location. You’ll find this rifle propped up against a shelf in the storage hallways of the Promenade area. There is a weapon crate near here.

PSG1
Location. You can get this by completing the Secret Sign 15 mission after scanning 15 handprints. It appears in a weapon crate.

Magnums

Python – (Episode 7, Scenario 1)
Location. After you get the Veltro key card from episode 6, go to the hallway in between the Dining Room and the Library in the Cafeteria area of the ship and unlock the door in that hallway with the card. This weapon is lying on the desk in the back of the Small Library behind the door.

L. Hawk – (Episode 8, Scenario 2)
Location. This is lying on a stool in the Experiment Room. This is the same room where Jill and Chris fight a Scarmiglione for the first time.

Rocket Launchers

Normal Rocket Launcher – (Episode 11, Scenario 1 & Episode 7, Scenario 2)
Location. In Episode 7, when Parker and Jill run from Rachel and all the other Ooze in the Cargo Room you will find this on the bottom floor at the top of some stairs near a Scagdead enemy outside the door to the hallway that leads to the Control Room.

In Episode 11, Kirk will toss out crates containing rocket launchers during the fight with the Malacoda. Break open the crates to take them.

Infinite Rocket Launcher
Location. After beating the game in HELL mode this will appear in the weapon crate on the New Game+ playthrough.

Weapon Upgrades

Auto Loader:
Complete the Aloof Challenger mission on casual difficulty or higher without using the Infinite Rocket Launcher or a green herb to get this.

Bind 1:
Complete Dodge Master mission by dodging enemy attacks 20 times.

Bind 2:
Found in Episode 7, Scenario 2. Rachel will drop this after you defeat her in the Cargo Room.

Burst 1:
Found in Episode 3, Scenario 2. After you possess the Helm key, unlock the door to Guest Room 4 in the Upper Cabins area. Scan below the bed in the cabin to find this.

Burst 2:
Found in Episode 7, Scenario 1. After obtaining the Veltro key card in Episode 6, return to the Hallway with Paintings in the Cafeteria area and unlock the safe at the end of the hall to get this.

Burst 3:
Only available in Hell Mode, you’ll find this in Episode 1, Scenario 1. It’s on some crates near a vent in the first room that you enter after stepping inside the ship.

Burst 4:
Found in Episode 7, Scenario 1. You get this by knocking out Rachel by damaging her in the cafeteria area.

Burst 5:
Only available in Hell Mode, this can be obtained in Episode 10, Scenario 2. Once the ship tilts, two wooden crates will slide by Jill and crash against the door below. One of the crates has this custom part in it, so run back and grab it.

Burst 6:
Found in Episode 10, Scenario 1. While playing as Parker, defeat Rachel in the Cafeteria area.

Charge Shot 1:
Found in Episode 4, Scenario 1. To obtain it, turn on the water purifier in the control room of the Solarium in Episode 3 then reenter the Solarium in Episode 4/Scenario 1. Swim to the other side of the now filled pool. You’ll find the upgrade on a counter on the other side.

Charge Shot 2:
Located in Episode 9, Scenario 2. After flooding the lab, swim to the north side of the outside portion of the pool and you’ll find this floating outside of a closed shutter.

Charge Shot 3:
You get this by completing the game on Casual difficulty.

Charge Shot 4:
This one is only available in Hell Mode. You can find it in Episode 3, Scenario 2 when you enter the Solarium through the Grand Hall. Solve the puzzle to unlock the door to the control room and find this lying on a control part near the back of the room.

Critical 1:
Located in Episode 4, Scenario 1, you can get this by scanning the area below the lamp in the VIP Room in the Casino area.

Critical 2:
Only found in Hell Mode. You can find this after the boss fight with the Draghignazzo in the observatory in Episode 6, Scenario 2. Scan the floor near the windows on the opposite side of the room to get it, near the elevator that doesn’t work.

Damage 1:
Found in Episode 2, Scenario 2. It’s on top of a cabinet near the iron door that Parker and Jill have to break down to retrieve their weapons in the Storage Hallway.

Damage 2:
Found in Episode 3, Scenario 2. It’s located in the Conference Room where you get the Helm Key. It’s lying on the table.

Damage 3:
Found in Episode 3, Scenario 2. You can find this after the boss fight with the Draghignazzo in the observatory in Episode 6, Scenario 2. Scan the middle portion of the floor near the windows.

Damage 4:
Can be found in two locations. First in the conference room in Episode 7, Scenario 1 in the bridge area of the ship. You’ll need to use the Veltro keycard to unlock the safe on the wall.

You can also get it in Episode 8, Scenario 1. When you’re swimming through the Water Corridor, outside the Engine Room area, this part will be on a catwalk above the door that Jill enters this area from.

Damage 5:
Found in Scenario 2 of Episode 9, look in the Hall to the Virus Preparation room and you’ll see it on a metal table on the very top platform past the railing.

Damage 6:
Only available in Hell Mode. Found in Episode 3, Scenario 2. Unlock the door to the Study with the Helm Key then scan the side of the table closest to the map on the wall to reveal this upgrade.

Damage 7:
Also only obtainable in Hell Mode in Episode 12, Scenario 1. You’ll find it in a waterway while moving toward the middle power room.

Daze 1:
In Episode 5, Scenario 2. While in the Engine Room Corridor, step through the left door and find this off to the right in the flooded lower portion of the Engine Room.

Daze 2:
In Episode 7, Scenario 1, use the Veltro keycard to open the safe in the Guest Cabin near the Heliport.

Daze 3:
Episode 4, Scenario 1. Go back to the Detention Room, where the dummy of Chris was located in Episode 1 and scan the yellow containers off to the right inside the room.

Edge Runner 1:
Found during Episode 10, Scenario 2. You’ll find this upgrade attached to the Government handgun that Jill can pick up on the Catwalk Bridge.

Edge Runner 2:
Complete the Researcher mission (scan all enemies) to get this upgrade.

Fire Rate 1:
Found in two locations; Episode 2, Scenario 2 has one in the small corridor near the bottom floor of the Dining Room. You’ll find it near the top of the cabinet.

You can also get it in Episode 3, Scenario 2. Solve the puzzle in the Solarium to unlock the door to the control room. It’s on a table beside the pump controls.

Fire Rate 2:
In Episode 2, Scenario 2. In the Promenade area, before lifting the shutter, move down the stairs across from the shutter and you’ll find this upgrade on a table.

Fire Rate 3:
Found in Episode 8, Scenario 1. While swimming out of the Bilge area, once Jill reenters the Maintenance Room, you’ll find this on top of the water tank inside.

Fire Rate 4:
This upgrade is found in Scenario 2 of Episode 10.

Fire Rate 5:
Only found in Hell Mode, in Episode 6, Scenario 2. After the Draghignazzo boss fight and obtaining of the Veltro keycard. This will be on the walkway that leads to the antenna.

Infighter 1:
In Episode 4, Scenario 1. In the Cafeteria area, use the Iron Anchor Key to unlock the Captain’s Dining Room and find this on the small table inside.

Infighter 2:
You can get this in Episode 7, Scenario 2. The Scagdead in the Cargo Room drops this after dying.

Infighter 3:
Only available in Hell Mode, you can get this in Episode 4, Scenario 1. Go to the Dining Room and unlock the door with the Iron Anchor symbol. Then scan the floor near the chair inside the Captain’s Dining Room to find it.

Long Magazine 1:
Located in Episode 3, Scenario 2. You’ll find the upgrade on the bottom floor of the Grand Hall, lying in a wall indention to the right of the doors that lead to the Promenade.

Long Magazine 2:
Found in three places. Two can be found in Episode 4, Scenario 1; First turn on the water purifier in the control room in episode 3, then swim to the other side of the pool in the solarium in episode 4 scenario 1. There is a Long Magazine on the chair here.

Secondly, After Rachel is fought off and made to retreat in the Examination room. She will appear after exiting the Examination Room. This part will be on the floor after she crawls into the vent.

Finally, you can complete the Angry Fist mission (successfully land 10 fully charged melee attacks) to get it as a reward.

Long Magazine 3:
Found in two separate locations; First, in Episode 7, Scenario 2. While at the bow of the ship, as soon as the scenario begins, scan the bottom portion of the UAV to reveal this.

Second, in Episode 8, Scenario 1, you can find this by going in the water in the Lift area. The upgrade is on top of a crate on the catwalk near the top of the water.

Long Magazine 4:
Also found at two separate points. First, in Episode 8, Scenario 3 you can get this after fighting the Scarmiglione. enter the Sterilization Room that Chris was trapped in and scan the floor off to the left to find it.

The second is obtained in Episode 10, Scenario 2. In the first flooded corridor that Jill drops into she will be swimming and some pipe debris will fall and block her path, making the player swim to the left – swim up and over the debris to find this part.

Long Magazine 5:
Only found in Hell Mode in Episode 3, Scenario 2. Go to the Upper Cabins after finding the Helm Key then unlock the door in the elevator corridor. Scan the side of the left cabinet closest to the entrance door to find this upgrade.

Long Magazine 6:
Also only found in Hell Mode in Episode 7, Scenario 2. It’s lying on top of a container near the side of the bottom floor with the ladder by it. It will not be there at the beginning of Episode 8.

Narrow 1:
Found in Episode 8, Scenario 3 in the Locker Room, outside the sterilization rooms. The upgrade will be on a bench to the left.
