Resident Evil: Revelations is out now, and like many Resident Evil games, there are a few collectibles you can play around with. One of these are the Files.
The files don’t really affect anything in the game. However, they do reveal back story in the universe and generally make good reading. They can be found throughout the world of the game and here I will tell you their locations so you can find them for yourselves.

Resident Evil Revelations Files Locations
File #1 – On Handling the New Prototype
Location: This File can be found in Episode 2, before the crashed plane.
File #2 – Botany
Location: Find this in Episode 2, directly after you meet back up with parker. Look for a Library room.
File #3 – The FBC’s Charter
Location: You can find this File in Episode 3 as Parker and Jessica.
File #4 – Discarded Message
Location: N/A
File #5 – Ship Layout
Location: This File is found in Episode 3 in the same room where you find the Helm Key.
File #6 – History of the Queen Zenobia
Location: This one can also be found in Episode 3, in the first room where you get to use the Helm Key.
File #7 – Note Found in Room 303
Location: Shockingly enough, this File is found in Room 303 in Episode 3.
File #8 – Note Left in Front of the Emergency Communications Room
Location: This one is found in Episode 3, next to the locked doors of the Communications Room.
File #9 – Communication Officer’s Journal
Location: This File can be found in Episode 3, in the room that the officer was locked in.
File #10 – Safety Procedures
Location: This File can be located in Episode 4, in the emergency communication room.
File #11 – Casino Staff’s Report
Location: This File is found in Episode 4, in the casino.
File #12 – Mysterious Instructions
Location: You will find this File in Episode 4, in the room “Chris’ was held.
File #13 – Mystery File
Location: You can find this File in Episode 4, in the room where Rachel is attacked.
File #14 – Manifesto
Location: This one is found in Episode 5, in the room with the Veltro Crest.
File #15 – Steam Pipe Maintenance Report
Location: This File is hidden in the engine room in Episode 5.
File #16 – Engine Room Memo
Location: This is also in the engine room in Episode 5.
File #17 – Veltro Agent’s Journal
Location: This one can be found in Episode 6, in the same room as the Veltro Key Card.
File #18 – Suicide Note
Location: This File is found in Episode 7. Look in the same room where you can find the Magnum Python.
File #19 – Completion of New-Type Virus
Location: N/A
File #20 – Malacoda Development Materials
Location: Found in Episode 9, this File can be located in the room just outside of the lab control room.
File #21 – Veltro Agent’s Journal 2
Location: This File is found in Episode 9, in the room just outside of the lab control room.
File #22 – Infection Log for Queen Zenobia
Location: N/A
File #23 – Daily Courier Article 1
Location: This file can be found in Episode 11, in the room with the lockers in Terragrigia.
File #24 – Daily Courier Article 2
Location: This one is found in Episode 11, in the same room where you can get the tourniquet and cubicles in Terragrigia
File #25 – Dante Alighieri’s La Divina Commedia. An Offering to the dead
