Soul Sacrifice Archfiends

There are a total of 22 Archfiends in the game.

Jack-o’-Lantern
Weakness: Frost
Cursed Parts: Head and Arms

  • Try to stay behind him to avoid his attacks.
  • If he kneels down, run away to avoid an AOE blast.
  • Use Frost element to freeze him in his place.
  • A Volt offering is also useful if he is in a frozen state.
  • Use your shield to knock him down when he charges at you.

Harpy
Weakness: Heat
Cursed Parts: Head and Wings

  • Take out her cursed parts first to prevent her from flying.
  • Follow Heat offerings with Frost attacks for a skillful attack.
  • Use Area-heal offering when she uses her vacuum attack to prevent yourself from getting sucked in.
  • Imp Pitchfork is a good option to dish out multiple attacks when she is down.

Slime
Weakness: None
Cursed Parts: Legs

  • Golem is a good offering against the Slime, which is slow and easy to target.
  • While breaking his cursed parts will knock him down, they will regenerate over time.
  • Be wary of his projectiles which cover a huge area around him. Either go all in or stay back.
  • When close, stay behind him and to his right.

Elven Queen
Weakness: Heat
Cursed Parts: Head and Wings

  • Follow Heat offerings with Frost attacks for a skillful attack.
  • Breaking her cursed parts (wings) will prevent her from using her homing projectiles.
  • She will enter an “enraged form” when below 50 percent hp and either start spinning or charge at you.
  • If spinning, keep your distance and attack from range. If she charges, use your shield to stun her.

Cyclops
Weakness: None
Cursed Parts: Head and Top of the Trident

  • Golem and Bombs are good offerings against him, since he is big, slow and easy to target.
  • If he lies down on his side, run away.
  • When he goes underground, use either Falcon Feather to dodge his attacks or simply run in a circle.

Cerberus
Weakness: Stone
Cursed Parts: The Three Heads

  • Follow Stone offerings with Venom attacks for a skillful attack.
  • Use your shield when it charges towards you. A successful slam will drop it to the ground for a while.
  • When down, unleash Grave Clod on the heads for a high amount of damage.
  • Run in circles to dodge its projectile attacks.
  • When it starts pulling a spear, either counter the incoming attack with your shield or run away as far as you can.

Illecebra
Weakness: None

  • Illecebra uses all five elements in her attacks so it’s useless to focus on one. Best bet is to bring your strongest offerings and boost them with sigils.
  • Her petrification spell is very annoying. Activate Mind’s Eye to dodge that attack.
  • Bombs and Eggs can be useful here.

Phoenix
Weakness: Frost
Cursed Parts: Head and Tail

  • Follow Frost offerings with Volt attacks for a skillful attack.
  • She is slow and flies close to the ground to trip Mines.
  • You can block her swirling attacks with your shield and stun her in the process.
  • Frost attacks will cancel out her Fire attacks and drop her to the ground. Damage her as much as you can before running away since she’ll recover with a powerful AOE attack.
  • Find cover when she puts her wings together.

Hydra
Weakness: Heat
Cursed Parts: Head, Stomach and Arms

  • Follow Heat offerings with Frost attacks to do a skillful attack.
  • Golems are pretty good against it since the Hydra is slow and easy to target.
  • Note that the arms will regenerate back in time if broken.
  • Don’t go in for attacks unless you have a venom armor. The Hydra reeks poison which does a lot of damage over time.

Werewolf
Weakness: Frost
Cursed Parts: Head and Right Arm

  • Follow Frost offerings with Volt attacks to do a skillful attack.
  • Use your shield to block his charge. It will incapacitate him for a while, leaving you free to dish out some damage.

Jack Frost
Weakness: Volt
Cursed Parts: Head and Arms

  • Follow Volt offerings with Stone attacks to do a skillful attack.
  • Use your shield to knock him over everytime he curls into a ball.
  • If you’re going in close, stay behind him to dodge his attacks.
  • When he kneels down, run away since his next attack does massive damage.

Centaur
Weakness: Frost
Cursed Parts: Head and Both Lanterns

  • Follow Frost offerings with Volt attacks to do a skillful attack.
  • Note that you can’t use your shield to block his charge.
  • Do not chase or stand behind him because he leaves behind bombs which do massive damage.
  • He also spins around damaging all nearby enemies. Hence use range against him.

Wyvern
Weakness: None
Cursed Parts: Head, Torso and Both Wings

  • Stock up on fast casting offerings for this one since he moves fast.
  • Time your roll to dodge his attacks when he goes underground.
  • He has a nasty ability where he splits into 4 shadows. To spot the real one, simply spot the traces of your element offerings hit prior to the split. Ice will leave behind shards, Heat will show the real one sizzling.
  • Activating Mind’s Eye will make you immune to his darkness/blind spell.

Minotaur
Weakness: Volt
Cursed Parts: Face Mask and the Head of the Axe

  • Focus on the Axe first with Volt attacks; destroying the head will stop him from using ranged and healing attacks.
  • Without the Axe he is pretty easy to beat.

Griffin
Weakness: None
Cursed Parts: Head and Both Wings

  • Focus the wings first, without them he will be unable to fly.
  • A neat trick is targeting his arms. With enough damage he will drop his gold and then focus on retrieving it. Feel free to lay down the pain on him.
  • Activating Mind’s Eye makes you immune to his blinding spell.

Unicorn
Weakness: Volt
Cursed Parts: Head, Both Arms and Both Lanterns

  • Follow Volt offerings with Stone attacks to do a skillful attack.
  • He is pretty straight forward and not that difficult to beat.
  • Mines could work well and leave you free to run around and dodge his attacks.

Kraken
Weakness: Volt
Cursed Parts: Tentacles, Face and Lower Body

  • Follow Volt offerings with Stone attacks to do a skillful attack.
  • Golems are great since he is slow and is easy to target.
  • Equip Ice armor to dodge Seadevil’s Scales, else you’re screwed.

Siren
Weakness: Volt
Cursed Parts: Head and Staff

  • Follow Volt offerings with Stone attacks to do a skill attack.
  • Often she’ll use her staff to swipe in front of her. Avoid being in her line of sight.
  • Use a Falcon Feather to avoid her underground attacks.
  • If she starts spinning, run away from her.

Leviathan
Weakness: Volt
Cursed Parts: Face and Lower Jaw

  • The Leviathan can be pretty challenging to beat. You can only damage him while or after he attacks. Hence, the timing of everything matters.
  • Once tip is to place bombs and bait him into attacking and setting off the devices.
  • When he moves his head back, clear out since he will do a lung attack from above.
  • If he starts opening and closing his mouth, he will lung directly. Roll to the side quickly.
  • Expect a swiping attack when he starts swinging from side to side. Use a Falcon Feather or time your roll.
  • When he lowers his head to fill his mouth with water, a human upper body will emerge from the floor in random place. Attack it until it disappears. Do it quickly enough and the Leviathan will be knocked down for a few seconds.
  • Infernus (Black Rite) is the only black rite that can effectively hit him.

Valkyrie
Weakness: Stone
Cursed Parts: Both Wings

  • Follow Stone offerings with Venom attacks to do a skillful attack.
  • Cast Stone Arrow at her when she flies around to bring her down.
  • Target the wings first to prevent her from flying.

Pegasus
Weakness: Volt
Cursed Parts: Unknown

  • Follow Volt offerings with Stone attacks to do a skillful attack.
  • He is similar to Phoenix and hence use mines because he flies slow and low.
  • Use your shield to block his swirling attacks and leave him stunned in the process.
  • When he puts his wings together in mid-air, run away and find cover.
