So the Electronic Arts is trying to make its way into the Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) category of games, according to a website that has emerged for the time being unannounced title by EA named Dawngate.
This forthcoming MOBA game whose website was recently disclosed by Superannuation; is designated to be the first release from Waypoint Games, a studio that is said to be built up by “sincere students of games” according to their Facebook page.
The website announcement sees Dawngate as a new MOBA game that would look and feel similar while giving the MOBA gameplay a complete different experience. The game will allow you to design your own soldiers/heroes to play their specific part in the online battle arena. The website itself reads it as, “Dawngate empowers you to forge the champions you love for the roles you want in a competitive arena.” And it also promises “community driven content and story.” That sounds good!
A solo image can be seen on the website that kind of shows 6 heroes/champions including humans and giant metal creatures who appear to be like golems. An application can also be sent for the game’s closed beta but that will require you to enter your Origin account information.
As of now, the game’s official Twitter account, Facebook Page and Twitch TV account are inaccessible.
Companies are still trying to get to Electronic Arts to give any confirmation on this and we will update you if any news about the game surfaces. For now, the website is pretty much all we have got!
