Konami’s financial results for the year ending on March 21, 2013 tell of a decrease in revenue for the company.
According to the report, Konami’s net revenue has fallen by 15 percent. While the net income year-over-year has decreased by 42.8 percent. Alongisde, its video games division has suffered a 17.1 percent decrease in net revenue year-over-year.
Notable properties that were highlighted include the Dragon Collection, Pro Evolution Soccer/Winning Eleven, and Metal Gear series.
Konami also briefly outlined their plans to turn things around. The firm mentioned the depreciation of the yen and the rise of stock prices will work well for them. Additionally Konami will start a viral promotion campaign for the Metal Gear series at this year’s E3.
