A new play-testing lab for Bethesda is being set up in Dallas, Texas and will be open to the public soon enough.
According to the announcement made on the official Bethesda Blog, any individual over the age of 18 can participate. Previous experience hasn’t been marked as mandatory and gamers with any skill level will be appreciated.
“Over the years, we’ve gained valuable experience from player feedback, and now we’re ready to take it to the next level,” the blog post reads.
Bethesda hasn’t mentioned any sort of monetary compensation for the selected candidates. Those thinking of applying should know that the opportunity to play games before they are even released to the public is rewarding in itself, in a manner of speaking. Of course hard cash is always appreciated in any case. Bethesda did promise “Cool Bethesda swag” for the selected gamers though.
If you think you’re up to the challenge, head on over to playtest.bethsoft.com and apply. Testing will begin “in the coming weeks and months”.
One question remains, which title or titles are Bethesda planning on having tested? The Elder Scrolls Online MMO is scheduled for a public showing in August, maybe they want to make sure everything goes smoothly.
