Splinter Cell: Blacklist Multiplayer Trailer Teased for Next Week
Ubisoft has teased an upcoming multiplayer trailer ‘within’ a just released trailer; has to be some sort of ‘Inception’ going on here.
The new trailer for Splinter Cell: Blacklist shows two agents facing off, each wearing Fisher’s signature goggles in green and red. The screen then fades to the words “First Look” and below that a date “05.02.13.”
Seems like we’ll be getting a first look at the game’s multiplayer component next week but what will be shown? Ubisoft’s twitter account answers that the trailer will showcase the Spies vs Mercenaries game mode.
The said mode appeared first in Pandora Tomorrow released back in 2004.
Earlier this month Splinter Cell: Blacklist was confirmed for a release on the Wii U. Players will be able to take advantage of the GamePad to control the Snake Camera, a miniature device used for peering through keyholes. The touch screen can also be used to access your inventory.
The game will release on the PS3, Xbox 360, PC and Wii U on the same August 22 date.
