By now, most of you would know that Batman: Arkham Origins is being developed by Warner Bros. Studios instead of Rocksteady, who developed the last two Batman games.
This may be a cause of concern for some people. However, all those notions right now must be considered as premature. In fact, from the latest trailer released by Warner Bros. Studios; the game seems to be doing just fine.
The trailer titled as the ‘The Storyline of Batman: Arkham Origins’ delves into the narrative side of things present in the upcoming game. In it, we will get to see a younger, inexperienced Batman who is prone to making mistakes now and then.
Besides that, the game will focus on the different relationships we have already seen in Arkham Asylum and Arkham City. However, this time around the developers are hoping to show us how these relationships became what they were in the previous two games. So, expect more than a few things to be different in this game.
For example, Alfred will not be really all that thrilled with Bruce Wayne squandering all his parent’s wealth on his nightly escapades.
The main story of the game will have Batman trying to survive Christmas eve as eight of the world’s deadliest assassins try to hunt him down. This will be the first time Batman will go up against super villains. Until now, the Bat had been facing regular mob bosses like Sal Maroni in his fledgling career.
Assassin’s like Black Mask and Deadshot are heavily rumored to be in the game.
The game is said to be heavily inspired from the ‘Legend of the Dark Knight’ comic book series of the late 80s. That particular comic book series followed the same trends we will most likely see in the game.
Batman: Arkham Origins will be available on Wii U, Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC October 25, 2013.
