AFC Champions League Added to Pro Evolution Soccer Series

Konami are adding the Asian Football Confederation, otherwise known as the AFC to their highly acclaimed Pro Evolution Soccer series. They recently acquired the license to represent the AFC Champions League within their game and are already planning to bring the league to life with their realistic digital counterpart.

The AFC Champions league, like other leagues has been put together to allow various different teams to duke it out to see which one is the best. 32 club teams from China, South Korea and Japan all go head to head in this league.

With this new license, Konami will have a whole host of new teams to add to their successful line-ups, adding in even more content for the avid players that enjoy the Pro Evolution series. Considering that only 32 teams compete in the AFC league, there’s more than 46 members in the association, so there’s plenty of teams to choose from.
