One of my all-time favorite title, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, is getting a sequel exclusively for the 3DS.
Much like the first one, the sequel will retain the top-down camera perspective and will also bring back many of the same weapons like the bow and Mallet. On the 3DS though, A Link to the Past 2 will ditch its sprite-based graphics and show off its fully 3D world. A new ability for Link has also been confirmed, which makes him a drawing and enables him to move along walls into otherwise inaccessible areas.
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past 2 will be released later this year and will feature an evil wizard named Agahnim, who wants to free Gannon from the Dark World. Anyone wants to bet that Gannon ultimately gets free as well?
The first title debuted on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System back in 1992 and was an instant hit. The storytelling was an amazing journey across the captivating world of Hyrule.
