Respawn Entertainment Files Trademark for ‘Titan’

Respawn Entertainment
Respawn Entertainment, a studio founded by ex-Infinity Ward members has filed a trademark for “Titan” in the category of “video and computer game programs, video game discs and video game software.”

It’s highly likely that Titan has something to do with their upcoming debut title. Heck, it may very well be called that as well.

The studio has been contacted to verify ‘Titan’ and inadvertently confirm their new upcoming first-person-shooter. A reply of ‘no comment’ will probably follow, but we can always keep our fingers crossed.

After being fired by Activision from Infinity Ward in March 2010, developers Jason West and Vince Zampella formed their own studio called Respawn Entertainment. Both headed the Call of Duty franchise while under Infinity Ward, and Electronic Arts didn’t waste a second to provide the duo with funds for their debut title.

It’s been around three years now, and it’s time for them to show us what they have been up to. Some rumors flying around the web claim their title to be a sci-fi shooter much like Halo.
