It seems like QUBE will be showing up on the Wii U in the future. This was revealed on the official twitter account of the game when the developers posted the following text along with the picture see up top.
We just had our first peak of QUBE running on the Wii U controller and it’s looking fantastic. Can’t wait to get this out.
When asked about the possibility of game coming out on the PS Vita the devs responded with a ‘Quite Probably.’ QUBE short for Quick Understanding of Block Extrusion is a puzzle game developed by Toxic games for initially the Windows PC which was released in December of 2011. A Mac version of the game was released exactly a year later in December of 2012.
As for the gameplay, it heavily borrows ideas from the famous Portal franchise. However, it does manage to make its own mark and stand by itself.
QUBE was a commercial success; it managed to collect its $90,000 budget in the first four days of its release by selling 12000 copies. It was also well received critically.
QUBE was a final year project of two students at New Port university and considering the numbers, it has been a great success.
