Team Fariko Impact wins the worlds first Call of Duty Championship and takes home the prize.
Xbox played host to the inaugural Call of Duty Championship this past weekend. The gruelling competition saw hundreds of players team up to take their shot at the huge prize purse, with $1 million on the line. Only the very best Call of Duty: Black Ops II players were in attendance, all vying for the big prize.
The finals saw teams Fariko Impact and EnVyUs meet face to face on the centre stage for the big showdown. With first place taking home a very generous $400,000 from the prize pool and only $200,000 for second, you can imagine that things were tense on the tournament floor.
After a hard-fought match, the team of Damon “Karma Barlow, Adam “Killa” Sloss, Marcus “MiRx” and Chris “Parasite” Duarte under the team name of Fariko Impact took home the $400,000 prize.
