Capcom has detailed the pre-order bonuses for upcoming Lost Planet 3. The bonuses come in the form of in-game weaponry and items, which in all honesty won’t have any major effect on your gameplay.
Still if you are interested in pre-ordering the game, there are three different retailer-specific packages.
GameStop in the United States and EB Games in Canada add the Freedom Fighter Pack with every pre-order, which adds five new characters to multiplayer including mask-wearing fan-favorite Resident Evil operative Hunk.
Best Buy adds the Assault Pack, which focuses on close-range weaponry, while Amazon adds the Punisher Pack, which focuses on long-range weaponry.
All three pre-order bonuses also include upgrades for the protagonist’s mining rig, which is effectively a giant mechanical suit he wears to traverse hostile conditions and squash aliens.
Lost Planet 3 suffered a small delay again yesterday, and will be out on August 27 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
