Disney Planes Coming Exclusively To Nintendo Platforms
A new flying adventure title Disney Planes has been confirmed by Disney Interactive to be heading for all Nintendo platforms. The game is a tie-in with the upcoming Disney animated comedy adventure film of the same name.
Exclusive to Nintendo platforms, the game will release on the Wii, Wii U, 3DS and DS on August 6th, a few days prior to the film’s launch on August 9. Behavior Interactive is developing the console versions, while Tose Company are heading the handheld versions.
According to Nintendo, Disney Planes will feature more than 40 missions across six environments from the movie, where players will take control of the film’s characters and “enjoy the thrill of flight”.
Players will be able to pick a character from 10 possible choices on the console versions but the handheld versions will only offer a choice of six characters. Wii and Wii U will also have two exclusive modes, an exploratory “Free Flight” mode and the racing mode Air Rallies.
