There have been rumors about a Wii U release for Splinter Cell Blacklist for quite some time now, but we can finally put the doubt to rest, because we have some concrete proof of the release.
Amazon France posted a listing for the Wii U title with no release date yet. There were more hints suggesting a Wii U release before, the last of which was from the LinkedIn profile page of a Ubisoft employee.
The profile stated that he was working on some title listed among which was Splinter Cell: Blacklist for Wii U, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. The profile page was found by the twitter user Emily Rogers.
With so many hints, it seems kind of obvious that the game is being released for the Wii U. It won’t come as a surprise if Ubisoft comes out with the announcement sometime soon.
