The Call of Duty Championship took place in Los Angeles this weekend, and we saw teams from all over the globe slug it out for the top spot in Black Ops 2 on the Xbox 360.
The event was attended by a total of 32 teams that dueled each other in a series of 16 grueling double elimination matches. Finally, when the dust and smoke cleared only Fariko and Envyus remained standing.
After the showdown, Fariko emerged victorious and will be taking home the $400,000 first prize and the satisfaction of being world champions. Envyus will have to be content with second place and the (still very sizable) $200,000 second place prize. All teams in the final eight will walk away with cash, with $25,000 as the lowest hand-out.
In case you missed the game and want to watch it, you should keep an eye on the Call of Duty eSports portal for updated on the replays.
