Project X Zone Getting Released in North America on June 25
Namco Bandai has announced the release date for its new crossover project; Project X Zone, which will be coming to North American markets on 25th June 2013.
For those not in the know; Project X Zone, pronounced “Project Cross Zone”, is a strategy RPG that is a collaboration between Namco Bandai, Sega and Capcom.
Project X Zone allows players to explore its grid-based locations and battle through the enemies using teams of two, while utilizing its fighting mechanic called “Cross Active Battle System”
The game features characters and stages from games of all three companies. Players can expect characters from games titles like Street Fighter, Tekken, Virtua Fighter, Mega Man X, Darkstalkers, Devil May Cry, Resident Evil, Dead Rising, God Eater, Endless Frontier, Valkyria Chronicles, Shining Force, Tales of Vesperia, Xenosaga, Resonance of Fate.
Project X Zone was released in Japan on 11th October 2012 and it has taken 8 months to be ported to the North American side, there is still no word on its release date for the European and Australian markets, though the game is expected to arrive there in summer of 2013.
