Star Wars: The Old Republic Introduces Legacy Achievements

By   /   Apr 4, 2013

Star Wars: The Old Republic is putting a new spin on an old system. With Game Update 2.0: Scum and Villainy, SWTOR introduces its Legacy Achievements system, tracking important milestones throughout your individual legacy.

The difference between the Legacy Achievements in SWTOR and ordinary achievements is that the actions of the characters in Legacy contribute to the Legacy Achievements. This means that you are always contributing to the same set of achievements even when you’re using different characters. You can start progress on an achievement and finish it later with another character.

The achievements you earn are displayed on your Legacy panel, so other players can view your accomplishments within your Legacy.

Do you think this makes achievements more or less interesting? You can read more about Legacy achievements at the Star Wars: The Old Republic blog.
