Skullgirls Indiegogo Destroys Its Funding Goal
Lab Zero Games, developer of the cult hit fighting game Skullgirls, has just a few hours left in their DLC funding campaign over on Indiegogo, and they’ve already obliterated their original funding goal of $150,000.
At the time of this writing, the current funding amount was $746, 657, hitting all but two of their incentive goals. So far, backers and fans of the game will be getting three new characters, one of which is a “mystery” that fans will vote on, additional modes and stages for all three, as well as some voice packs.
You could also say the biggest news coming out of this story is that when they hit the $725,000 mark, they agreed to license they’re “Z-Engine” fighting engine to the team currently working on the My Little Pony fighting game: Fighting is Magic.
I believe some Bronies had a hand in pushing this campaign to the stratosphere for just such a reason, they’re a mighty dedicated bunch.
There’s a still a few goals left in the final hours so head on over to the Indiegogo page and donate if you’re so inclined, as there’s plenty of fantastic backer rewards!
