Additional microtransactions have been added by Crystal Dynamics to Tomb Raider.
Players can now spend $1 to purchase a headshot reticle for the single-player campaign, which in turn increases your accuracy with weapons.
The headshot reticle is not the only item in Tomb Raider’s in-game store. Players can also spend another $1 to purchase Agility points, which enables Lara to climb mountains faster and endure damage from high falls. There is also Animal Instinct which allows Lara to see XP-laden animals while in Instinct Mode.
There are also various multiplayer specific items like weapons, additional playable characters, etc.
Tomb Raider now joins the league of games providing in-game purchases to players. Other entries include Dead Space 3, Call of Duty: Black Ops II and Gears of War: Judgment.
