EA Trying to Make Amends to SimCity Players, Giving Free Game out of Eight
It appears that EA is trying to show that they are sincerely sorry for the problems that the fans have been facing since the launch of SimCity and in accordance to their earlier offer of giving SimCity buyers a free game is offering one free game from a choice of Eight games. It’s a pretty good deal and there are games of different genres to cater to the various gamers of various tastes!
The following is taken from the Source:
The current list of games consists of Battlefield 3, Bejeweled 3, Dead Space 3, Mass Effect 3, Medal of Honor Warfighter, Need For Speed Most Wanted, Plants vs. Zombies and SimCity 4 Deluxe Edition.
As you can see, players will have a choice of RPG, action, racing and even casual games. It is good to see EA doing something of this caliber, but honestly, it would be a lot better for them and the community if they simply gave the audience what they want and made the game available offline. That would truly help subside the hate that the gamers now have for EA and their draconian DRM.
Players will be able to avail the offer on March 20th 5PM P.T (US), March 21st 5PM P.T (UK), Asia & South America will have access at 5PM P.T on March 22nd.
