Bad news for those who are looking forward to downloading Lego City Undercover on their 8GB Wii U console. Nintendo has warned everyone that the digital version of Lego City Undercover from the Wii U eShop will require an astonishing 22GB of free space.
“An external hard drive is required to download this software,” Nintendo posted on the game’s official site. “Visit support.nintendo.com for information about storage options.”
Nintendo previously revealed that the 8GB Wii U model only leaves consumers with 3GB of free space, after they have installed all necessary system softwares. With Lego City Undercover, you’re either going to need an external drive or the premium 32GB Wii U model which leaves you with 25GB of free space.
We would suggest just getting an external drive.
