Ubisoft has released a new gameplay video which showcases Splinter Cell: Blacklist’s night-vision mode.
Zack Cooper, community manager of Splinter Cell said that Sam Fisher’s goggles are one of the first items that you’ll get at the start of the game. Also “You’ll absolutely need and rely on them in certain parts of the game.”
Previously Ubisoft released some day-light videos of Sam Fisher in action. Fans were not impressed and most accused the development team of straying away from Splinter Cell roots. Ubisoft now is perhaps conducting damage control and assuring fans that the stealth department is alive and kicking in Blacklist as well.
Splinter Cell: Blacklist will release in August for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. A Wii U version is rumored but currently has not been confirmed by Ubisoft.
