Age of Wushu Launching In US Next Month

If you know anything about Age of Wushu, the Free-to-Play MMO game coming from Snail Games, then you’re no doubt as excited about its north American release as I am. The game was supposed to launch in the states on February 1st, but was delayed, for some reason or the other. Now, however, Snail Games has announced that it will be coming on the 10th of April.

If you don’t know much about the game let me get you up to speed a bit; Age of Wushu is an MMO game set in the historically accurate Ming era of China in which you as the player character are meant to become a Kung Fu master. It’s not a traditional MMORPG in that it does not feature leveling or classes. Instead, players can select one of eight total schools of Kung Fu.

The eight Kung Fu schools include Emei, Wudang, Shaolin, Beggars’ Sect, Scholars, Tangmen, Royal Guards and Wanderer’s Valley. Each school has its own unique skills and techniques to teach you and you increase your proficiency in your school’s art by employing it to cave some faces in.

The game is already a hit in China, with over 10 million registered players. You can check out the launch trailer up above.
