Sony might be getting another exclusive Assassin’s Creed title for the PS Vita by the looks of things.
Following up with the official announcement of the world’s worst kept secret, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, VGLeaks have come out to say that we should be getting -another- Assassin’s Creed title this year, for the Vita.
“this year we’ll see two AC games, that’s for sure… bet for a Vita one in 2013.”
This lines up with the CEO of Ubisoft, Yves Guillemot, confirming that Ubisoft did have some future plans for the PS Vita.
“I cannot announce anything, but it’s coming. The Vita is not dead for us.”
Most notably, Ubisoft have already confirmed that the PlayStation 3 version of the new Assassin’s Creed game will have an additional 60 minutes of gameplay compared to other versions. If there is indeed a new Vita title coming then we might see some cross-play between it and Assassin’s Creed IV, much like we did with Assassin’s Creed 3 and it’s Vita counterpart, Liberation.
