Eager hands can get their feelers on the Sony’s next PlayStation at the Electronic Entertainment Expo this year according to SCEA CEO Jack Tretton.
In an interview with Businessweek, Tretton said the PlayStation 4 will have “multiple unveils,” and include a lot of playable content for E3 event goers.
“People will have opportunities to play it,” said Tretton. “That’s the thing I want to emphasize. We’re not trying to sell it tomorrow, there will be multiple unveils. Our biggest industry event is E3 coming up in June and there will be a lot of playable content on the floor.”
But don’t fret if you can’t make it to E3, as you will still get your chance to play the PlayStation 4 before it hits stores.
“Consumers will get their opportunities before it ships,” continued Tretton. “We know who our consumers are and we’re going to get out product in their hands.”
The PlayStation 4, revealed on February 20th, is currently slated for a holiday 2013 release.
