A new listing spotted at Amazon Germany today suggests a new FIFA 14 is in development for the PlayStation 4.
Heading into the PlayStation section on the retailer’s website, you can see FIFA 14 placed alongside other PS4 titles that were already announced during the PlayStation Event earlier this month: Killzone: Shadow Fall, DriveClub, Watch Dogs and Destiny.
The interesting thing to note is that the listing specifies current generation platforms as well. Hence, FIFA 14 is also being released for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
The spotting of FIFA 14 is not surprising. Last month EA’s CEO John Riccitiello all but confirmed Battlefield 4 and FIFA 14 for the next-gen platforms.
Beyond Q4, we see a bright light at the end of the tunnel. For EA, digital remains a winner, and our investments are generating strong growth. We’re also investing in Gen4 console technologies and content. We’ve signalled that we’re working on the next editions of our two biggest franchises in Battlefield and FIFA. And we look forward to discussing these programs and many others with you when we provide our fiscal ’14 guidance in May.
