Sony’s list of European third-party game developers for the PlayStation 4 has been revised from 53 to 30. Studios previously on the list, such as Mojang and Vlambeer, have been removed due to not having an active project in development on the PS4.
Other names cut from the list include Frozenbyte, Rovio and Criterion. New developers were added to fill out the list, including Splash Damage, Hello Games, 2K Games and CD Projekt. The old list, according to Sony, was “in error.”
This doesn’t mean that developers removed from the list will not support the PS4, as 505 Games, a developer previously on the list, claims it will “definitely” publish on the PS4.
