There is just something about Plants vs. Zombies that sets it apart from other casual games. The game that pits your front lawn shrubbery against mindless zombies first came out in 2009 but is constantly updated with new content.

If you miss shooting peas at zombies, or if you are new to the concept altogether, there is good news, PlayStation Plus subscribers can now enjoy the game for free on the Vita. The game actually costs $10.49 in the PSN store.

That is not all; however, Sony is also giving away discounts on a bunch of other titles on the Vita. You can even get a discount on the recent hit, PlayStation All Star: Battle Royale. The game originally costs $35.99 but Sony is giving it away for an almost 50% discounted price of $17.63.

There are a total of 13 titles on sale for non subscribers as well as subscribers but as usual PlayStation Plus subscribers get a bigger discount. Check out the sale on the PlayStation blog.
